This notice describes how American Lean LLC ("American Lean", "we", "us") handles information collected through this website (americanlean.ai). American Lean operates as an independent industrial AI deployment firm, and sells software subscriptions, digital content and training, and consulting services through this website.
Information we collect
This website is a static informational site. We do not require accounts or set marketing cookies. If you contact us by email (info@americanlean.ai), we receive the information you choose to send — typically your name, organization, and the content of your message — and we retain it only for the purpose of evaluating and responding to your inquiry.
Contact forms
If you submit one of the contact forms on this website, the information you provide (email address and, optionally, name, company, role, phone number, and message) is used solely to evaluate and respond to your request. This data is transmitted to and stored in our lead-management system, operated by iLean (industrialaicenter.com), acting as a processor on our behalf for commercial follow-up. By submitting a form you acknowledge this privacy notice.
Purchases and payment data
When you buy from us, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States), acting as an independent controller for payment processing and fraud prevention. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
From Stripe we receive the information needed to fulfil and account for your order: your name, email address, billing country and postal code, the last four digits and brand of your card, the amount, and the transaction status. We use it to deliver what you bought, provide support, issue refunds, calculate applicable taxes, and meet our accounting and tax obligations. We retain transaction records for as long as required by United States tax law.
Stripe also processes technical signals from your device (including IP address and browsing behaviour on the payment page) for fraud prevention through Stripe Radar. This is necessary for the performance of the contract and to protect against fraudulent transactions.
If you buy a software subscription, we create an account record holding your email address, plan, billing history, and usage data associated with your use of the platform.
International transfers
We and our processors are located in the United States. If you contact or buy from us from outside the United States, your personal data will be transferred to and processed there. Where required, such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism operated by the relevant provider.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may maintain standard server logs that record IP address, user agent, and requested URL for the routine purposes of operating, securing, and troubleshooting the site. We do not use these logs to build user profiles.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use marketing cookies. If we deploy a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future, it will be limited to aggregated traffic measurement and disclosed in this notice.
Third parties
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; using them transmits your IP address to Google for the technical purpose of serving the font files. We do not share inquiry content with third parties for marketing purposes, and we never sell personal data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you have sent us by contacting info@americanlean.ai. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Note that we must retain transaction records for the period required by tax law even after a deletion request.
